Payments & Fees
Private Health Insurance
We offer on the spot claims with all Private Health Insurance plans through HICAPS. Remember to bring your Health Fund card (physical or digital) to your appointment to make your claim.
If you find Private Health Insurance confusing, we recommend you speak to the Fair Health Care Alliance (FHCA) team. FHCA is an Australian-based private health insurance comparison service that compares reputable Australian health insurers, mostly not-for-profit. They are the only health fund comparison recommended by the Australian Dental Association (ADA). When comparing health insurance, it’s important to match your personal health requirements with a hospital cover and/or extras policy that covers the just-in-cases and pays generously on the things you claim most.
Preferred Provider Health Insurance
We are proud members of the HCF More for Teeth Program, CBHS Choice Network and Westfund Choice Network. These Private Health Insurance companies operate on a not-for-profit basis, prioritising the well-being of their members. Our proud association with them enables their members to enjoy enhanced benefits when seeking services at our practice.
EFTPOS / Credit Cards / Debit Cards / Cash
We accept all major Credit Cards, Debit Cards and Cash payments. Please note that a surcharge will be applied to all Credit Card payments and any Contactless payments (including tapping with a debit card). The surcharge amount may vary depending on the type of card used. There is no surcharge for using EFTPOS - Savings/Cheque options and Cash.
Deposits via STRIPE
Our online booking system employs the Stripe payment platform to streamline the process of handling booking deposits.
We require booking deposits for our appointments, which can be used towards the cost of the appointment. Our team will inform you if your appointment requires a deposit. Please note that if you fail to attend your appointment, reschedule or cancel your appointment within 48 hours, then this fee may be absorbed. Terms and conditions are applicable.
Medicare Bulk Billing
We participate in the Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS) which offers bulk bill dental treatment for eligible children aged 0-18. The amount that is available to be used for 2 calendar years, for 2024 is set at $1095. Eligibility, determined by the government, involves means-testing based on your Family income and estimates. Please call us to find out if your child is eligible (we will need their name and Medicare number). Please note there are limits that apply to this scheme.
We also bulk bill eligible patients under the Cleft Lip & Palate Scheme. This only covers continuing care appointments as per the Scheme’s rules.
Department of Veteran Affairs (DVA) Dental Scheme
We offer bulk billing for eligible patients holding Department of Veteran Affairs (DVA) card Gold or White cards. It is important to note that eligibility verification is necessary, and certain exclusions apply to the services covered by the department.
Other Fees
If you fail to attend your appointment, reschedule or cancel your appointment within 48 hours, a fee will be charged. Terms and conditions are applicable.
Any refunds processed will be issued minus the surcharge. For payments made through a Payment Plan Provider, refunds of unused deposits will be adjusted to account for any applicable pro-rata payment plan fees.
